Some individual sessions are also provided at our downtown Killeen office. Treatment is provided twice weekly, in two hour sessions, from 5-7 pm. Individual sessions are provided once weekly at times convenient for teens and family members. Treatment generally lasts 60-90 days and is individualized to meet the unique needs of the teen and their family. Referral To enroll an adolescent in the treatment program, referral sources or families need only to call one of our offices, from 8-5, Monday through Friday, and make an appointment for an evaluation. The teen and family or referral source will meet with a licensed counselor who will assess the teen’s needs for substance abuse treatment and other services. The family and referral source may be involved in preparing a plan to meet identified needs. For Families It is vital that family members be involved in the teen’s treatment. Family support and education groups, family therapy and sessions which include both the teen and their family are a part of treatment.
