When that last bell sounds at the end of the spring semester, it means one thing - summer vacation. With summer vacation, it's never too early to start thinking about a summer job. Begin planning now for next summer's employment with a lifeguard position.

Training begins at Abrams indoor pool, Bldg 23001, on the following dates:

• 11-22 Feb 1900-2200
• 17-21 Mar 0800-1700
• 7-18 April 1900-2200
• 21 Apr-2 May 1900-2200

Cost of the classes is $100 per student with no more than 12 students per class. All students 16 years of age or older who complete the certification requirements may apply for employment for one of the lifeguard positions on Fort Hood.

Certified lifeguards interested in employment must submit an application through CPAC , Bldg 4220, between 0730-1615, Mon.- Fri.
