1. Zozibini Tunzi
Zozibini Tunzi was born in 1993; she is a model and actress from South Africa queen who was crowned Miss Universe 2019 in Thailand. She is the first South African woman to win the Crown. She also is the only African woman to have ever won the title of Miss Universe. She is a qualified teacher for science, having obtained her diploma at the University of Cape Town in South Africa.

2. Jawahir Ahmed
Jawahir Ahmed was born in 1991 in Logan, Utah, United States. She is a Somali-American model and beauty pageant titleholder who Miss Minnesota USA 2018 was crowned. Ahmed has participated in the Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants and has served as a local contestant and host of the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner.

3. Atong Demach
Along Demach is a businesswoman and beauty queen from South Sudan. Miss World South Sudan 2011 was her title. She’s the younger sister of Atong Anyiel, who also participated in Miss World South Sudan 2011. Since 2013 she has worked for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) as a refugee protection officer in Uganda. In 2014, she was awarded the Order of Civil Merit by South Sudanese President Salva Kiir Mayardit. She also became an ambassador for the “No to Violence Campaign.”

4. Joelle Kayembe
Joelle Kayembe was born in 1994 in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She is a model and actress who won the title of Miss Congo 2015. She represented Congo at Miss World 2015 and came back as 1st runner up at Miss Congos. Deng represented South Sudan at the Miss Earth 2009 beauty contest in Manila, the Philippines, on December 18, 2009. She was appointed as Miss Earth South Sudan 2009 by the president of South Sudan, Salva Kiir. During her reign as Miss Earth South Sudan, she promoted peace and unity with an important speech about peace and war, mostly followed by citizens of Africa.

Manuela Mogga Matong is a 24-year-old South Sudanese model and beauty queen. She was selected as Miss World South Sudan in 2013. Rachel Mwanza is a young actress nominated for the best actress award at African film awards after she starred in War Witch, a war drama about a young girl who finds herself caught up in the civil war in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Joëlle Kayembe was born in 1983 in Congo and currently lives in France with her husband and children. Her first major appearance in a magazine came in 2005, after which her career took off in leaps and bounds. Despite being on the cover of many high fashion magazines, Kayembe is best known for her modeling work.
