EQUIPMENT
To help speed up play, all players must have a set of clubs with bag. If you do not have a set of clubs, full and half sets are available to rent.
RENTED CARTS
To rent a powered cart, you may be asked to:
• Present a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrate the ability to drive the cart properly.
Only two riders will be allowed on a golf cart at any time. Children are not permitted to drive golf carts. Carts are rented by the person; however a nongolfer cart fee has been established, to reduce the cost of a full cart fee for spectators and caddies, who wish to ride along during a round.
When renting a cart, you will be required to sign a “Cart Rental Agreement.” The cart rental agreement holds the player financially responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle, as a result of negligence or misuse.
In an effort to decrease wear and tear on carts and the course playing surface, single riders in rented carts, with the same tee time, will be paired up in one cart.
If you do not wish to be paired with another single rider, you may pay the additional cost of a full two rider cart.
A handicap cart is available for rent on a first come, first serve basis. This carts has the same restrictions as regular carts, except that it may be driven up to the fringe of the greens and on the tee boxes, when carts are allowed off the cart path. The price of a handicap cart is the same as a single rider cart. The 90-degree rule should be followed when possible.
POV CARTS
All policies of rented carts apply to POV carts, with the exception of single rider carts.
GOLF CARTS
During normal conditions the “90 degree cart rule” will be in effect. The “90 degree cart rule” means, all powered carts are permitted access to the fairway by the most direct route from the cart path to ball location. After playing the ball, the most direct route shall be taken back to the cart path. The exception to this rule is, carts must stay on the cart paths for all par threes, around the tee boxes and greens. Some latitude shall be allowed when two players occupying a cart have ball location in close proximity to one another. Close proximity is considered to be no more than 30 yards apart. In the case of two balls being in close proximity, the most direct route shall be taken to the second ball and after that ball has been played the cart shall be driven by the most direct route back to the cart path. Under no circumstances shall carts be driven off the secondary rough, over rocks or into the woods. Should course conditions warrant, the “cart path only rule” will be declared and a notice shall be posted in the Golf Shop. “Cart path only” means, all powered carts must keep all four wheels on the cart path. There are no exceptions. Passing other carts shall be kept to a minimum.
SEVERE WEATHER
The golf course does not have a severe weather detection system. Players play at their own risk. The golf course may require patrons to leave the course when obvious severe weather is prevalent. Remember, if you see lightening, play it safe and take shelter!
SUSPENDED PRIVILEGES
Though we hope this will never have to be addressed, golfers may have course privileges suspended for:
• Conduct that brings discredit to the United States Army.
• Serious breaches of etiquette or misconduct.
• Failure to comply with the rules and procedures outlined in this pamphlet.
PRICES
Prices charged for fees and services are approved by the Director of Morale, Welfare, and Recreation. Any refund of daily fees will be issued in the form of a rain check.
RAIN CHECKS
Greens fee rain checks will be issued in full, if a nine-hole round is not completed. Greens fee rain checks will not be issued upon completion of nine-holes. Riding cart rain checks will be issued in full, if a nine-hole round is not completed. Rain checks for riding carts will be issued in the dollar amount difference between a nine-hole and eighteen-hole cart, if nine-holes are completed, but eighteen holes have not been completed.

USGA rules apply. Local rules will be printed on score cards and individual tournament rule sheets.
COURTESY ON THE COURSE
SAFETY:
Prior to playing a stroke or making a practice swing, the player should ensure that no one is standing close by or in a position to be hit by a club, ball, stones, pebbles, twigs or the like, which may be moved by a stroke or swing.
CONSIDERATION FOR OTHER PLAYERS
The player who has the honor should be allowed to play before his opponent or fellow-competitor tees. No one should move, talk or stand close to or directly behind the ball or the hole, when a player is addressing the ball or making a stroke. No player should play until the golfers in front are out of range.
PACE OF PLAY
In the interest of all, players should play without delay. If a player believes the ball may be lost outside a water hazard or out of bounds, the player should use a provisional ball. Players searching for a ball should signal the players behind them to pass, as soon as it becomes apparent the ball will not easily be found. Players should not search for five minutes before signaling. They should not continue play until the players following them have passed and are out of range. When the play of a hole has been completed, players should immediately leave the putting green. If a match fails to keep its place on the course and loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, players should invite the match following to pass.
