Growing up in the Atlantan culture, there was always a constant rivalry. From the origin of hip-hop, one city in this country would forever be rivals. Atlanta has many rappers on a different level than New York or Los Angeles and could even compare to the likes of Chicago or Detroit. The list is endless, but here is 21 rapper that has made their mark in Atlanta.

Dominique Armani Jones was born in 1994, known professionally as Lil Baby, and is a rapper from Atlanta, Georgia, who is American. Among his most popular songs are “Freestyle,” “Yes Indeed,” and “My Dawg”, which peaked at number 16 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart
2. Future

Nayvadius DeMun Wilburn was born in 1983 in Atlanta, Georgia, better known as Future. He is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Future signed a recording contract with A1 Recordings and Epic Records in 2011. It released the albums “Pluto” and “Honest”, which contained the platinum singles “Turn On the Lights”, “Honest”, “Move That Dope” (featuring Pharrell Williams and Pusha T), and “I Won”.
3. Young Thug

Jeffrey Lamar Williams was born in 1991, known professionally as Young Thug, and is an American rapper. He rose to prominence in 2013 after a series of high-profile collaborations with artists such as Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, and Travis Scott

Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph was born in 1992, known professionally as 21 Savage. He is a rapper based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America. He is best known for his songs “Bank Account” and “No Heart” and the track “Bank Account” featuring Future, Young Thug, and T.I.
5. Migos

Migos is an American hip hop trio from Lawrenceville, Georgia, founded in 2008. Migos is an American hip-hop trio from Lawrenceville, Georgia. The group comprises three rappers known by their stage names Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff. They are managed by Coach K, the former manager of Atlanta-based rappers Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy.
6. Gunna

Sergio Giavanni Kitchens was born in 1993, known professionally as Gunna; he is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. After his second studio album was released, Wunna, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200, he released his first studio album, Drip or Drowned 2, in 2019. DS4Ever, his third album, was published in 2022 and quickly rose to the top charts for the second time in a row.
7. Gucci Mane

Radric Delantic Davis was born in 1980, known professionally as Gucci Mane, and is an American rapper and record executive. In 2005, Gucci Mane started working on Southern hip-hop projects, including collaborations with producers such as Lil’ Jon and Young Jeezy. In 2007, he founded his label, 1017 Records. After releasing several mixtapes and collaborating with other artists, Gucci Mane signed to Warner Bros. Records in 2009. In the following years, he released mixtapes and performed frequently. Gucci Mane has released nine studio albums so far in his career, with one of his latest being “Mr. Davis” in 2017.

Miles Parks McCollum was born in 1997, known professionally as Lil Yachty, and is an American rapper and singer. Lil Yachty is an American hip-hop recording artist. He gained recognition for his hit songs “1Night”, “Minnesota,” and “Broccoli” in 2017, which peaked at number 11 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
9. Playboi Carti

Jordan Terrell Carter was born in 1996, known professionally as Playboi Carti, and is an American rapper and singer from Atlanta, Georgia. “Magnolia” and “Woke Up Like This,” two singles that reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart, were included on Carter’s debut mixtape in April 2017. (featuring Lil Uzi Vert). Die Lit (2018), his debut studio album, reached number 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200.
10. Latto

Alyssa Michelle Stephens was born in 1998, professionally known as Latto or Big Latto. She is an American rapper, producer, and businesswoman. Latto was nominated for Top Rap Female Artist at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards and Best New Hip Hop Artist at the 2020 B.E.T. Hip Hop Awards. She belonged to the 2020 XXL Freshman Class. In February 2021, she was selected MTV Global’s Push Artist of the Month and earned the B.E.T. Award for Best New Artist in 2022.
11. J.I.D

Destin Choice Route was born in 1990, better known by his stage name J.I.D. (also stylized J.I.D.), and is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. Jid’s debut studio album, The Never Story, was released in 2019 to critical acclaim. A third-place debut for the album on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and received a Grammy Award for Best Rap Album nomination at the 2022 Grammy Awards.
12. Money Man

Tysen Jay Bolding was born in 1986, known professionally as Money Man, and raps in the United States. He released his number-one hit single “24” in 2020 from his eighteenth mixtape, Epidemic, which peaked at number 49 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. (2020).
13. YFN Lucci

Rayshawn Lamar Bennett was born in 1991, known professionally as Y.F.N. Lucci, and is an American rapper and singer from Atlanta, Georgia. He released Wish Me Well 2, his second mixtape, which featured the popular song “Key to the Streets.” Long Live Nut, his first extended play, was published in 2017 and reached its highest point at number 27 on the Billboard 200 chart.
14. Young Nudy

Quantavious Tavario Thomas was born in 1992, known professionally as Young Nudy, and is an American rapper from Atlanta, Georgia. He’s part of the hip hop collective Quality Control Music. Nudy released an extended play, Nudy Land (2015), with fellow rapper PeeWee Longway. His debut studio album, Nudyland 2 (2017), debuted at number 8 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
15. Lil Keed

Rachid Jevon Render was born in 1988, known professionally as Lil Keed. He is an American songwriter and rapper. He had contracts with 300 Entertainment and Y.S.L Records, owned by Young Thug. Hip Hop/R&B Songs Airplay on Billboard list, at position 42, his single “Nameless.”
16. Sofaygo

Andre Dontrel Burt Jr. was born in 2001, known professionally as SoFaygo (formerly stylized as soFaygo), and is an American rapper. Burt released the Angelic 7 mixtape, produced by a friend and Lil Tecca, another rapper. His 2019 breakout track “Knock Knock,” from which several sounds in late 2020 went viral on TikTok, was featured on this mixtape. Since then, the song has received over 100 million Spotify streams.
17. Lil Gnar

Caleb Shepard was born in 1996, known professionally as Lil Gnar. He is an American singer and rapper based in Atlanta, Georgia. Lil Gnar started gaining traction after he released the singles “Ride Wit Da Fye” with an accompanying video on Worldstarhiphop and “Death Note” featuring Lil Skies and Craig Xen with a video shot by Cole Bennett.
18. Kenny Mason

Edwin Kenneth Green Jr. was born in 1994, known by his stage name Kenny Mason. He is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer from West Atlanta, Georgia. Kenny Mason began gaining recognition after releasing his breakout single titled “Hit” in 2019. He released his debut album Angelic Hoodrat in 2020, met with public praise from fans and artists alike.
19. Yung Bans

Vas Coleman was born in 1999, known professionally as Yung Bans. He is an American rapper and songwriter. He is well known for his tracks, which include “4TSpoon” with Playboi Carti, “Ridin’,” “Lonely,” “Dresser,” and “Right Through You,” as well as the Yung Bans Vol. 1–5 mixtape series.
20. Lil Gotit

Semana Render was born in 1999, known professionally as Lil Gotit, an American rapper and singer. Described as one of Atlanta’s next rising rap stars, his music was starting to be played in clubs. Lil Gotit was derived from Maja Gotit, a nickname inspired by his “having everything”.
21. SahBabii

Saleem Malik Valery was born in 1997, better known as SahBabii. He is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Atlanta, Georgia. The name “SahBabii” is Arabic and translates to “O.G.” or “prince”, but he decided to change it to something more positive in his neighborhood. In 2019, he released the single “Pull Up Wit Ah Stick”, which peaked at number 73 in the U.S.
