Masashi Kishimoto is a Japanese manga artist born on November 8, 1974. As of May 2019, his manga series Naruto, serialized from 1999 to 2014, had sold more than 250 million copies across 46 nations. Two anime, numerous movies, video games, and other related media have all been made from the series. In addition to writing the Naruto manga, Kishimoto oversaw the two canonical anime movies, The Last: Naruto the Movie and Boruto: Naruto the Movie, and has written several one-shot stories.
