RV gate clearance is a security requirement for all RV/trailers entering post, including those staying at the RV Park.
For an entry pass to the installation, exit HWY 190 at main gate access to Fort Hood. Proceed to information booth and present your vehicle registration and proof of insurance at the counter. A gate pass will be issued for entry to the Fort Hood reservation. Leaving the information booth, once again enter HWY 190 going west. Exit at the Clarke Road. Proceed to the security check point where your RV will be x-rayed. You will be given directions to WFHTC about 300 yards from that security gate on your right.
Note: Expect a wait if arriving in the early morning hours between 0600 1100 as delivery vehicles clearing security to enter Fort Hood at this time.
