Rules about Bringing Weapons onto Post
All gates at Fort Hood outdoor recreation are open to registered firearms carriers. However, if you didn’t register yet, you are not allowed to go inside the area. Hence, please honestly register all of your weapons at Visitor Welcome Center and bring the Fort Hood form 190-19 with you.
In case you want to borrow the weapons from another person, you must present a letter from the owner, which indicates that this person allows you to use it. And you must bring it with a copy of the weapons registration.
