Jax Teller is a fictional character on the FX original series Sons of Anarchy, played by English actor Charlie Hunnam. The American television show aired from 2008 to 2014. Jax is the vice president of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club Redwood Original (SAMCRO) based in Charming, California.
I was talking to Jax Teller about his hair earlier today, and he revealed something very surprising. He said that he spends a lot of time every day on his hair just so that it looks good for the day. I had no idea that Jax spent so much time on his hair. It turns out that not only does he take care of himself, but he also takes care of his shoes as well.
Jax tells his father Clay Morrow that he wears White Nike Air Force 1 Shoes. It’s not weird to see a guy keep a good pair of shoes for several years. It is weird for those shoes to look brand new forever. For a man that spends most of his time delivering carnage and chasing people down, his kicks are amazingly spotless.
Jax is known to wear a leather vest and keep it open and wears clothing in shades of black and brown. He has tattoos on his arms and neck. He keeps his hair long, with the top usually tied back in a ponytail or bun knot.
Since we know that Jax likes to keep his shoes fresh for as long as possible, he probably keeps them clean by wearing socks with them.
If you’re a fan of the television show Sons of Anarchy then you probably know that Jax Teller, played by Charlie Hunnam, is the Vice President of SAMCRO. He also has a long-term relationship with Tara Knowles and they have a daughter together.
Gemma tells Jax at one point in the series that he wears a leather jacket and owns a white tennis shoe from Nike Air Force. In one episode, Tara notices two different pairs of shoes on their porch and wonders which pair Jax is going to wear.
In season 7, Jax tells his father Clay that he wears white Nike tennis shoes as well as black or brown jeans and a leather vest. His hair is long and he has tattoos on his arms as well as his neck. Some of the tattoos include a Celtic cross, an Eye for an eye, MCC outlaws on one arm, and August Marks on the other arm. Jax also carries a knife with him at all times. It’s usually sheathed onto his belt near the buckle.
However, not everyone knows why Jax wears men’s tennis shoes from Nike Air Force 1 Shoes all the time. Many people don’t even know that they make shoes in colors other than black or brown! The shoes that Jax wear are actually pretty standard looking but you will be surprised to know how effort goes into keeping them fresh-looking.
Jax wears the same model of Nike white tennis shoes from the Nike Air Force series every day. He gets a pair at a time and then he keeps them on until his feet start to hurt and then he switches out the old shoes for the new ones. Jax does not like wearing sneakers because he thinks they favor his father too much. And despite what people may think, these shoes are not only worn by men in prison or bikers – they’re clean! Black leather is more traditional but again, Jax doesn’t want to wear something that might be associated with Clay.

He wears white tennis shoes because it symbolizes a new start. He was wearing Nike Air Force 1 low tops for most of the series, which is technically a basketball shoe but primarily worn casually by urban youth. I believe the whole series he is tying to walk a different path than his dad. Be a better example to his kids than his father was to him.
Finally at the end he realizes he isn’t “good” or “clean”, colors associated with white like he thought he was and that turned out more like his dad then anything else in this world would have been able to imagine. His attempt to explain himself failed so badly, some say due do an injury sustained while playing football before high school started when he and his father had a physical altercation. Any who, he takes off his white shoes covered in his moms blood putting on a pair of his dad’s old boots. Finally accepting his destiny by walking in his father’s “shoes” on this fathers bike (he even took the time to clean it up for him).
While studying for the part Jackson befriended a young man in a motorcycle club and studied his actions, demeanor etc… That young men always wore white tennis shoes. He lost his life and so this is how Jackson honors his memory.
