Hood Howdy- A Texas Style Info and Mini Job Fair
Brought to you by Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation’s Army Community Service Relocation Readiness Branch, this FREE event serves as an overall “installation orientation.” Hood Howdy’s mission is to welcome you to the Great Place and make the relocation process easier and less stressful for newly-arrived Soldiers and Families.
Hood Howdy offers an abundance of information booths on local programs, activities and over 100 area businesses. We’ll bring you up to speed on housing, emergency services, the commissary, medical services, recreational opportunities and much more.
All FMWR facilities and programs will also be present to provide A to Z information concerning their services; some of which include financial counseling, job search assistance and Child, Youth & School Services.
If you are on the search for a new job due to relocating, don’t forget to bring your resume along. Another added benefit to attending Hood Howdy is that the ACS Employment Readiness Branch will sponsor a mini career fair with over 25 participating employers.
Hood Howdy is Family-friendly with games, door prizes, food and activities that are appropriate for all ages. You name it, Hood Howdy’s got it!
The Army Family Covenant takes pride in the fact that its members are committed to providing our Families a strong, supportive environment where they can thrive, so come to Hood Howdy and let us show you how proud we truly are to serve you. For more information call 254-286-6780.
