The Jehovah’s Witnesses are a millenarian restorationist Christian denomination with nontrinitarian beliefs distinct from mainstream Christianity. The organization claims to have approximately 8.5 million evangelistic members worldwide and an annual Memorial attendance of over 19.7 million.
The Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses, a group of elders in Warwick, New York, United States, sets all doctrines based on its interpretations of the Bible and is in charge of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
They believe that establishing God’s kingdom over the earth is the only solution to humanity’s problems and that the current world order will be destroyed at Armageddon.

Philip John Landrigan is an American epidemiologist and pediatrician who is a leading advocate for children’s health around the world.
His work has been honored by the national non-profit organization Healthy Child Healthy World (Lifetime Achievement Award) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (Child Health Champion Award), and he was named one of New York Magazine’s “Best Doctors 2008.”
Philip belongs to the Jehovah’s Witnesses sect.

Margaret Keane’s paintings depicted sad-looking children in dark settings while she was living in the shadow of her husband. She moved to Hawaii after leaving Walter and became a Jehovah’s Witness after years of studying astrology, handwriting analysis, palmistry, and transcendental meditation; her work became happier and brighter.

Nicholson objected to the use of Nicholson’s image for the single’s cover since the lyrics featured profanity after she joined the Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1979. (“Damn Spineless all.. .”).
