ATTENTION FAMILY and MWR PHYSICAL FITNESS CENTER PATRONS
Effective Immediately 1. In accordance with AR 215-1, all patrons not in official miltary uniform are required to provide proof of eligibility (DoD ID Card), when accessing physical fitness centers.
2. In accordance with AR 670-1, all military will be required to conform to the wear of jewelry policy (i.e. earrings), when accessing physical fitness centers.

- SPIN FITNESS
Spinning provides a fun and challenging cardiovascular workout at all fitness levels. Experience a full ride of hills, sprints and endurance intervals with energizing music and motivational instruction. Spinning will enhance your speed, strength and stamina, improve your overall physical health and increase your caloric burn. • Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8:00 - 9:00 am • Monday through Friday 12:00 - 1:00 pm • Tuesday & Thursday 5:30 - 6:30 pm

- YOGA
The practice of Yoga is to create balance in the body by developing strength and flexibility. You will learn basic breathing techniques, meditation training and simple exercise (asanas) poses. It improves flexibility and strength to the skeletal, muscular and nervous systems, balance and lower stress and increase energy.

Ditch the Workout, Join the Party! A fusion of hypnotic Latin and International music - dance themes that create a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness system! The routines feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principles of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize caloric output, fat burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body sculpting movements with easy to follow dance steps.
- FIRM - FIT
Take your body to the next level with a high-intensity conditioning program that will burn so many calories. It’s a combination of traditional cardio, calisthenics, intense core work and some fitness drills. This is one incredible and effective package that will cause you to push yourself to extreme limits. If you want to pump it up and mix it up, do it with Firm-Fitt. • Tuesday & Thursday 9:00-10:00 am -

- STRENGTH TRAINING
Strength training is the use of resistance to muscular contraction to build the strength and anaerobic endurance of the skeletal muscles. The basic principles must be specific, progressive, and provide sufficient overload to stimulate muscle growth. The exercises are supervised to ensure your highest level of achievement, recommended training is two or three times a week; anything more can be damaging and not allow proper muscle response time.

Abrams Physical Fitness Center is also home to the intramural All Army sports office and the aquatics office. The aquatics program offers lifeguard training, drown-proofing, swim lessons, water aerobics and unit P.T. time.
Patrons must be Active duty Soldiers and/or family members, retired military, DoD, Gold Star Family members, Civilians or DoD Contractors.
